John Donald Robb, his life and legacy, was the focus of a class presented by OASIS, a program that provides learning opportunities to people 50 years and older. David Oberg, an honorary member of the Robb Trust Board of Directors and a longtime conductor and music educator, taught the class. He took students through a history of Robb's life and included musical excerpts from the era, including compositions of Robb.
Invited guests were composer Michael Mauldin and musician Frank McCulloch, both of whom knew Robb well. Mauldin, pictured on the front page of the Robb Trust website, shared anecdotes and McCulloch performed a selection of traditional New Mexico folk songs preserved by Robb.
